I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, starting with semi-regular letters that I sent to my cousin when I was about 4 years old. After a brief bout of hating writing in fourth grade, I starting writing fiction on my own agenda and never stopped. I have a Creative Writing major from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, as well as a Master’s in Library and Information Science (which comes in handy at odd hours).
My short story “Job Hunting” won first prize in the Radiant Prose contest by HarperCollins, and is being adapted into a play by Michael Fienen. Other fiction and poetry can be found on my Writing page or at my Patreon.
